THE 'GREEN SINKS' PROJECT IN THE EUROPEAN 'LIFE AND THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY' PUBLICATIONONE

The European Commission recently published the latest report of the LIFE programme on the eco-sustainable economy.

The publiczione, named "LIFE AND THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY"In addition to displaying all the achievements in terms of green economy and eco-sustainability, it describes all the projects financed by the LIFE programme that were deemed worthy in terms of environmental impact and circular economy.

The circular economy consists of creating an economy of production processes based on the principle of recycling, reusing industrial waste and creating new Green products.

The European unione through the LIFE programme is supporting and promoting the transitionone towards this type of more circular economy where the value of products, materials and resources is maintained as long as possible and the productionone of waste is minimised.

In 2013, the Plados-Telma Group obtained a major grant from the LIFE programme to realise the 'Green Sinks' project, i.e. the first green sink made entirely from recycled organic and inorganic materials.

Last year, the European Commission awarded our project as one of the best European environmental projects of 2015.

In April 2017, the European Commissione once again recognised the importance and the value of project "Green Sinks' by devoting an extensive spazio in the one publication 'LIFE and the Circular Economy'.
