The ISO 14001 certification attests that Plados has an adequate management system to control the environmental impact of its activities and certifies the company's constant commitment to improve that impact in an effective and sustainable manner. The ISO 14001 certification is not compulsory, but is the result of a voluntary choice of the company that decides to define, implement, maintain and improve its own environmental management system. The green soul of Plados runs along the entire value chain, from the sourcing of raw materials to the manufacture of water- and energy-saving products. Those who choose Plados can count on our goodone environmental practices.

RENEWABLE ENERGIES

In addition to its efforts to reduce energy consumption, Plados has introduced measures to cover its energy needs through renewable sources. The company recently installed a photovoltaic system on the roofs of its factories. The solar energy generated by this system will avoid the emission of 300 tonnes of carbon dioxide each year. It can be estimated that around 20,000 trees would be needed to absorb this avoided amount of CO2.
